This is a tune called Cocooning that we wrote during the Covid19 lockdown in April 2020. At this point we had never played it together – we just sent it round to the band members with instructions how to record their video. It’ll change a bit once we’ve arranged it properly and gigged it in! Thanks to Angie for pulling it together in iMovie.

Here’s a video we made during the lockdown in May 2020. It was put together for the virtual version of the June 2020 Roland Walls Folk Weekend after the real-world festival, where we had been due to play, was cancelled. The song is written by John Warner and we would like to acknowledge the band Northern Company for the arrangement – we hope you don’t mind us borrowing it!

And here’s a video with a few excerpts from some of our tunes and a bit about us…

We didn’t know that the crew at Musicport 2018 were taking a bit of video – here we are on the North Sea Stage playing Laurel, Dougie and Dick from our 2018 CD Six. The sound isn’t great, but you get the idea…

Here’s a short excerpt from a tune we played at the legendary Clachaig Inn, Glencoe in 2017. We were going to be back there in April 2020 but the gig was cancelled due to the lockdown.

This is us playing a song at The Great Langdale Folk Festival a year or two ago at The Old Dungeon Ghyll – one of the best pubs in the lake district.

Here’s us playing a pair of traditional tunes – the Mooncoin and Morrisons. This was recorded at the same 2018 session as our CD Six – all photos by Bob Mitchell unless shown otherwise.

Here’s Leather’o playing a short version of the Dirty Linen Set, back in October 2016.

We’re mainly known for our high energy Alt-Celtic tunes, but here’s the other side of the band – a traditional tune called Freylekh, featuring our fantastic fiddle player, Rachel. Many thanks to Luke Wiggs at Luke Lewis Productions for the video.

Here are some right noisy videos from our cracking set at The Galtres Festival 2014:
