We’ve had a great run of gigs since The Galtres Festival, including three new venues outside our home town, York! Thanks to everyone who’s come along! We’ll be gigging again in November and December, but in the meantime we’re working on some new material, doing a bit of recording and arranging a refresh of this website, including some new photography.

The Leather’o Trio did a couple of gigs in Hampshire this weekend, including a fantastic wedding gig for our good friends Susie and Jon. There was much semi-organised dancing and I looked up just after one of our sudden tempo changes to see a vast circle of guests wheeling round, all pretending to be gigantic seabirds. Excellent!
After a big pub breakfast and 250 miles further north, we headlined Sunday night at the Black Swan Folk Festival and had a great, boisterous time of it! Hope some of you guys were there!
We’ve got a short notice gig tonight as a quartet (you’ll have to come along to find out which one of us had a prior engagement) at the Beer Festival at The Rook and Gaskill in York. It’s a great pub and perfect weather – hope to see a few of our regular fans there!

Stop Press: The photos are back from the shoot last week and they look great!
This weekend we’ve got our first-ever photo shoot, down at Steve’s Studio. We’ll be meeting beforehand at the legendary Bison Coffee House, so expect us to look spectacularly sober.
Playing all acoustic, traditional instruments in venues from pubs to major festivals, extensively reworking tunes and songs from the Irish, Scottish and Eastern European traditions.
